Yes, the rumors are true! David will be once again attending a convention. He will be a panelist at Penguicon 7.0, and will be on a ridiculous number of panels. (He's had to be duct-taped to the wall since he found out he'd be on panels with both John Scalzi and Wil Wheaton.) This year, he will be handing out a new badge ribbon, which means the corresponding link will be activated here. A while back, Dave poked his head out of his hermitage and investigated an artist site called DeviantArt. One of David's flash fiction pieces - Victim - has been published over at the ConUtopiaN zine! It's a very short piece, as that zine's top word count allowance is 400 words. Give it a read, and let them know what you think. Also, the entirety of Steven - Book 2 has been put in the Early Drafts page. Steven, David's serial shorts about an insane vampire and his cohorts, is being adapted into a comic book and is being published by Comics Obscura! ConVocation was a whirlwind of meeting long lost friends and crossing local paths. I'll be posting more pics as soon as I get them developed. *gasp* Film? Yup.The next two chapters of Steven are up on the short fiction page. Keep in mind that these are the scripts that are driving the comic book issues. My artist's working hard on converting my writing style into a visual one, and I've been quite pleased with what I've seen so far. More in that vein soon.
